Excellent quality, stylish hotel with excellent people and stunning location in the forests of Fontainebleau. Comfy bed in the deluxe king room, plus a safe box, central heating, and an electronic key card. Lots of brilliant food at breakfast time. Location next to Napoleon's castle in Fontainebleau, restaurants and centre of village.

Our room here was modern and cool, with nice art and stuff on the walls. Plus, it had all we needed, like a shower, hairdryers, and comfy bathrobes 🛁.

The location of the hotel in the quaint, quiet village of Barbizon. We were flying out of Paris but did not wish to stay in the city. Barbizon is about an hour from cdg airport and only 10 minutes from Fontainebleu so a perfect base to relax before flying home. The room was spacious as was the bathroom and balcony. The food in the bistro was of good quality.
The bad, drainage type smell in the room. The bar was rarely manned, not stocked correctly and we experienced very unprofessional service. Drinks were overpriced in the bistro.

Great stop on the way back from the South of France. Can recommend cycling through the woods to Fontainebleau. Good food in the 2 star restaurant, predictably expensive.

We got great value for our money at this beautiful hotel. The room was fantastic, with all the amenities we needed. The location was picturesque, with charming streets and lovely outdoor cafes. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was the food selection.

The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The decor is attractive and the site quiet and relaxing. The exercise facilities were adequate, if somewhat limited. Comfortable bed.
The room was advertised as having a mini-fridge, but did not. No clock in the room.

the room was new-fashioned with art or decor and large bags, for example, appreciated it.

The rooms are modern and well-designed, with stylish bathrooms and artistic decor. the price of $175 is reasonable, and I was happy with my stay here.

Very cute town right outside of Paris. We had a great dinner at the more casual restaurant. The staff is very caring.
The room had a strange smell to it - almost like vegetables rotting. After having a great dinner the night before we wanted to have a nice lunch after we checked out. I got the special of the day: skate. After tasting it I almost through up - it had a nasty taste to it. I did not complain thinking that maybe that's the french way of cooking it. But than after researching it I found out that the skate, when not fresh or not prepared correctly might have a bad ammonia-like smell to it.

Hotel Les Pléiades is located in a village called Barbizon. this village has hosted a lot of impressionist painters and is very lovely, and on the border of the superb forest of Fontainebleau. It is near Paris (about 50km), very good food, and romantic context.

This was my first time at Les Pleiades although I have stayed in other hotels in Barbizon. The relaxed yet efficient service together with a first class selection of eating opportunities make this hotel the best solution.
Unfortunately the drainage in the bathroom of room 109 produced a very unpleasant smell all of the time. There were no chairs on the balcony and the balcony light has not been installed.

The location of the hotel is great - right in the centre of Barbizon. The bed was exceptionally big and very comfortable. The furnishing and general facilities in the room were fine but a bit like a 'business hotel' rather than giving a romantic atmosphere.
On the whole, the staff were not friendly and were very pretentious (save for one older gentleman who was very friendly to us). The hotel definitely thinks that it is ''uber posh'' but the reality of the facilities and services does not live up to its attitude!

My comfortable room had central heating, a personal safe, and a flat-screen TV, with the added bonus of a bathtub in the private bathroom, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming.
